FAQ
Is GLIDE Aloe Lube compatible with toys and latex condoms?
Yes GLIDE contains no ingredients that will react with or break down latex and silicone toys, so it’s 100% safe to use wherever, and on whatever you desire.
Is GLIDE Aloe Lube safe to use when pregnant or while trying to conceive?
Glide's pregnancy-safe, plant-based formula is 100% natural, free from nasties, spermicides and contraceptives. Glide is formulated with a pH of 4.5 to match a healthy vaginal environment. However, fertile cervical mucus is naturally more alkaline to support sperm survival and motility. Because Glide is slightly more acidic than fertile cervical mucus, it may impact sperm motility and is not recommended for use when actively trying to conceive. If you have more questions, we recommend consulting with your physician before adding any new products into your routine.
What is the pH level of GLIDE Aloe-lube?
GLIDE has a pH level of between 4.1-4.5, matched to that of a typical vagina.
What is the shelf life and expiry date?
GLIDE Aloe-lube has a 2 year shelf life, and a 12 month expiry date once opened as its all natural formulation is free from harsh preservatives. Each product will have a batch code and an expiry date printed on the bottom.
